Ugh

Little bit of a crazy day...saw 6 patients today..then went to get my tattoo finished. My tattoo girl was having issues :(. got just the smallest amount done and totally wasted 3 plus hours. So not happy about this.

Thursday 7/30

Very full day...work filled..consumed really. So tired this evening. Tonight was D's last game of the season. He's exhausted from camp but stuck it out.

Day 4 of camp...thank you God, the boys are still loving it.

Feels good

Back into the swing of things with homecare. Feels good. We paid off the new furniture today and that will be being delivered on Sat. CANNOT wait. Slowly but surely my house is coming together..operative word being slowly...but that's ok.

Another great day at camp.

Tues, 7/28

Another great day at camp. Man...makes me so happy to pick them up and have them be so happy and excited and just glowing and overflowing with everything they want to share with me.

Got some cleaning done today. Slowly making progress.

Camp

Kids started camp today. They all had a great day. I am so happy. I started back to homecare. That feels good too.

Sunday

Yesterday I took the boys to the beach and then we went to a Syr. Chief's game in the evening. We went with our friends Jessica and Jaylin. Had a great time. All in all it was a good day.

Part exhilerating, part scary

Today is my last day at the hospital. I have mixed feelings. So very happy to be able to be home when the boys are home. This was my safety net for so long though and going forward without it is scary. But, we can make this work. And..my kids will be happy.

Busy day

The new mattress and box spring are coming today! WOO HOO...so looking forward to a decent nights sleep.

Been doing a lot of cleaning and cleaning out. Feels so good to have time to clean again.

Nails getting done this afternoon and then a meeting.

Wonderful Wednesday

Pretty good day. Went and bought a new mattress/boxspring today. Being delivered tomorrow. Mowed the yard..sat outside and knitted while the boys played.

Tuesday

Did a lot of knitting on Ulmus today. Dreamed about it all night..finally got up at 6 and went back to knitting.

Cleaned some today. That always makes me feel good.

Off now to take the boys to Mickey D's and then to Darius ballgame.

Ulmus

I started knitting my ulmus today..it is consuming my thoughts. I'm loving this pattern now that I have it figured out and written out.

Today has been a perfect day. Not too hot, kids able to play outside, lazy kicked back kind of day. Everyone seems pretty happy. SWEET! I do have to go into work but, WOOOOHOO...last day of my last weekend. :)

Friday

Puttering around the house, paying bills and hoping to get some ice cream made for the boys. Then off to work.

Today's mail brought me my 2 skeins of malabrigo to go with the other and now I am all set to try and knit up an Ulmas. Bought new knitting needls, had the yarn wound...now to just get down to business!

Pretty good day. Boys were a bit grumpy because they haven't had much exercise the last couple days. Need to remedy that!

Tomorrow I work in the evening...last weekend for me-HOPEFULLY!

That's my new label, title..whathaveyou. Mother in law..as in my son got married. And I wasn't there to see or witness. Another dream...down the drain.

Blah kind of day

Not feeling so swell today. Did manage to get my curtains in the bedroom up finally and I'm loving them. Now to get the paint job done.

Stayed home most of the day except for taking Sam to guitar lessons.

Didn't sleep well the last couple of nights because my foot hurts from the tattoo. Hopefully tonight I will get a better nights sleep and be raring to go tomorrow and more productive. It's going to be a full day.

Can't wait to crawl into bed and just close my eyes and drift.....

Blown away...

Today Jamie and I headed north to Southwick Beach State Park on Lake Ontario. The sun was out for the most part, the wind was blowing like crazy. It was pretty chilly but Sam and Lucas had a BLAST in the waves. Darius was content to sit with mom and dad and hang on the beach. He did get his toes in and showed daddy how he could kick but then back to the beach. It was a great family day.

Full day ahead

Today we are going to go bowling and lunch with friends, then I am getting my tattoo and then off to the fireworks! Should be tons of fun. Hmm...wonder when I'm going to fit in the house cleaning?

Right now it is sunny and windy but storms are supposed to be coming. Hope they come and go by fireworks time.

It's still Friday for me

Even though the clock says 12:13..to me it's still Friday and I am getting my post a day in ;).

Today the boys and I went to the beach and then I had to work at the hospital. Cannot cannot wait to be done!

All in all it was a very good day though.

sunshine....finally

Today I took the boys to the beach....ahhhhh...finally the sun shone all afternoon. It was so nice to sit and watch them play and feel the sun beat down. Darius had a game tonight and it was perfect out. Should be good sleeping weather tonight. Tomorrow I'm hoping to take them for a little while to the beach before I have to go to work.

Two weeks from tomorrow is my last evening at the hospital! YIPPEEEEE

Birthday resolutions...

Well..today is my birthday! Woohoo! I am resolving to try and do a post a day to chronicle this year of my life. It may just be a picture or a caption or it may be an entire post. Going to share what I'm doing with the boys, my crafting, my home and my life.
