Today was the first day of swimming lessons for the boys. Just Sam and Lucas are taking them and D is hanging with mama on the sidelines. Both boys did a great job and had a lot of fun. Afterwards we came home and ate lunch outside on the picnic table and then I surprised them by going to the beach for the afternoon. All 3 boys had a great time. I forgot my camera dang it!
D had his appt with the endocrinologist this morning and he was so brave. I see such an improvement in his stamina, the texture of his skin and his overall mood since he started on the meds.. He also has lost 3 lbs and gained 1/2 inch in height in the last 6 weeks. Makes me one happy mama. He had to give blood and sat there like a little trouper. Totally impressed his brothers. At the beach he showed so much more excitement and willingess to get in and interact which is a huge change from last year.
Today makes my mama heart so happy.

Just catching up on the blog! Is it his thyroid that make Darius crabby? I have been needing to get Ben's blood drawn for months now. Something to think about as a possible issue for us...
