I recently re-did the front hall way. The walls had a brown paneling on them. I took off the closet door. Painted the walls and trim. Painted the bench and some accessories. Enlarged the pic of the boys and framed it in black. I put 3 cubbies side by side for back packs, shoes etc. So happy with the way it turned out!
